WanamLite V8.2 XXLPB Android 4.0.3

Changes log:

LP6 kernel
Fixed touch sensitive
Added Music player (fixed ringtones settings)
Removed FMRadio (not working with LP6 kernel)
Fixed app installation on sdcard
Themed Camera
Better GPS Lock

How to install :

Copy my rom to internal sdcard
BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP
If you came from a Gingerbread or AOSP Rom or if you use Stock Email, you MUST WIPE your data
Flash my rom from Recovery
Reboot & enjoy, let the phone to boot up, at least 5 minutes to let media scanner finish.

Known issues :

If you use a stock Exchange account, you must wipe your email & exchange data.
If you have any Market issue :

Open the stock browser, and go to Android market web site it will ask you to use Market app, select it and go ahead (Thanks to Ayman).
If the above solution doesn’t work, remove your Gmail account, reboot and add it again.

DO NOT CHECK “Force GPU rendering” on Developer options as it may causes some issue (Lock wallpaper…)

Samsung apps may not work properly on this update, because i mixed LP6 and LPB, if you need them flash LP6 ones from add-ons page.

If you have any Home button/Lock screen/Reboot issue on ICS Roms, refer to this solution.

how to disable sound in this rom? i try this file GT-I9100_WanamLite.Disable.Camera.Sound.zip, but didnt work? please replay

  This patch works only for GB roms, you can set your phone to silent on ICS.

Couldn’t install on USB storage or sd card with XXLPB

when I install app from market such as “webmd” or “quran android”

  Are you sure? this issue is fixed on this update.
  You will get issue with LPB kernel only.

Hi, i´ve used your rom and some time the rom crash with me when I use the music player and receive some message with give me a notification… whats app or imo…

  VIber did’nt work in any ICS ROM I’ve tried so far. CM9, Wanam, ICS remix, Bezke…
  
  I think that Viber simply doesn’t work on ICS yet. Or at least in SGS II with an ICS ROM.

Hi, Do you have a FMRadio apk to install? and I do know the other users have this problem, but for me its better to use the volume down click to take photos….. Is it possible in this version? thanks

Hey its a nice rom but my stock camera app does not seem to work. others downloaded from the market seem to be working fine though. any cure?

I am sorry to till you that, I can’t set ringtones for calls or notif or contacts after updating to V8.2

Hi wanam . I am currently running on android 4.0.3 xxlpb . To install ur rom , i need to wipe
-wipe data / factory reset
-wipe cache partition
-mounts and storage
Format /system
-advanced
Wipe dalvik cache
Is this correct ?
I’ve failed alot of times in installing rom. Kept on stuck at yellow triangle ;( .

  Just wipe data / factory reset then install the Rom, it should works.

Hi wanam thx for this ics rom, but i think that the same problem is still there, when you put the ringtone mode there is no vibration

Hi Wanam,

I remember that one release of ICS has a great save in battery but I cannot remember which version is.
Please try to solve the battery to save power.

This release and V.8.0 did not support Arabic fonts that is working with GB.

great job !! but when i installed the whatsapp , contacts specially and most of the time the phone freezes , dunno why

  Whatsapp isn’t yet fully compatible with ICS build.

Is iot possible for you to add a customizable Quick Panel (like Jkay in GB) in your next version? I’ve seen some ICS ROMs out there in xda-developers forum that have this VERY HANDY feature.
