WanamLite ICS V9.4 LPQ Android 4.0.3 Blue ICS Themed – Fast & Stable

Features :

  • Stable build based on my deodexed LPQ

How to install :

  • Copy my rom to internal sdcard
  • BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP
  • If you came from a Gingerbread or AOSP Rom or if you use Stock Email, you MUST WIPE your data
  • Flash my rom from Recovery
  • Reboot & enjoy, let the phone to boot up, at least 5 minutes to let media scanner finish.

FAQ (Deprecated but if you can use it if still get any of these issues) :

If you use a stock Exchange account, you must wipe your email & exchange data.
If you have any Market issue :

  • Open the stock browser, and go to Android market web site it will ask you to use Market app, select it and go ahead (Thanks to Ayman).
  • If the above solution doesn’t work, remove your Gmail account, reboot and add it again.

DO NOT CHECK “Force GPU rendering” on Developer options as it may causes some issue (Lock wallpaper…)
If you have any syncing issues with Contacts apps try this (Thanks to Crussader)

V9.4 uses a different Google apps of my previous updates, so if you get any Gapps (Gmail, Gplus…) issues, try to clear app data, if you still get these msgs a WIPE DATA IS RECOMMENDED .

    I just wanted to ask if you can please add “smart alarm” feature again. It was there in GB but seems to have disappeared in your ICS Rom. I hope you can add it some how as I used it everyday.

    Installe propre de la 9.2 (wipes Date/factory,cache,dalvik + format system cache data ), fix 9.2 pour contact, 9.3 puis 9.4 et aucun soucis de duplication de sms….
    All is OK for me and any FC.

    Bonjour Wanam , mais a chaque fois que j’installe la rom V9.3 ou V9.4 j’ai un message erreur kernel panic upload mode.

    Mais auparavant la V9.2 et les autres versions fonctionnent à merveille

    Pourquoi ce message erreur ?

    Wanam, could you please mirror XXLPQ.SamsungApps.zip somewhere else. Jumbofile download is **very** slow (2kb/s!)

          I was also at 52 position for about a week and jupmed to 170 as soon as the new site came on within 20 minutes. The response from saatchi was that everything is ligit and it was due to a surge of visit to the site due to new configuration. After that it was very hard to reach 128. But at this point I believe what has happened has happened and my best wishes to all contenders who are all winners plus those who originaly participated. This is a very exciting moment for the candidates. If the rules need to be changed is another story, and perhaps a different time.

    I find that the apps dont get killed and stored in the memory for later after preSsing the home key or what ever . The apps just carry on running for ever and it then eats battery. Are u aware of this ?

    This issue seems to affect the latest build of wanam lite (9.4) – Sends duplicate texts with any 3rd party app, I was using GO SMS PRO

      It’s a stock issue, and it seems to be fixed on LP7.

    Hi wanam;
    I flashed this rom and backup apps with titanium backup. Rom is very good but it freezes sometimes. What can i do to solve this problem? İf i reflash or wipe data and than install apps with google play, is the problem solved? Or is it a bug of rom?

    Gosms problème. Send two sms.

      In GOSMS go to settings, Important tips and unchek stock sms uninstalled or simply delete mms.apk in system !

    Hi Wanam,

    Just a small question:
    in GB there was a program called signin.apk which was for the Samsung account.
    Which program is responsible for the Samsung account in ICS? The signin.apk is not in the Samsung Apps package.

    after updating GMaps to 6.4.0, it goes to “Loading” situation and won’t get out of it.

    Why do you choose the blue ICS as default and not just ‘regular’ Domination theme?
    The regular theme is more like stock ICS :o

    Man man man, I wanna flash like madman, but I’m waiting for JKay and maybe a little more stable build (LQA maybe? :p)…

    Flashed 9.4 this morning, had nothing but problems. Gmail force close, phone hanging, and phone loop rebooting. restored back to 9.3. There are problems with this rom.

    GTalk – Does anyone have the video-call options available? All I’m able to do is pass simple IM text messages.

        Ahhhh, my fault Wanam. You’re right and I’m wrong.
        It looks like the video chat icon appears in GTalk when a contact has either GTalk with video or an online webcam. Looks like all but one of my contacts are on old GTalk or don’t have webcams active.

      It may depend on your country, try a different build (i use Google one).

      I’m from Denmark, but what is it exactly I can’t do without the right CSC? As far as I know isn’t it something “important” for branded editions of SGS2 ?

        I guess if you have a CSC for generic Europe you will not get the options for Nordic spelling correction(Danish). But maybe im wrong. :)

    I like your rom very much, But i fully wiped my phone, installed ur rom, put all the programs back with titanium backup (no system files) and then i put numbers back with Sprite backup. everything is restored. but after a short time it freezes and reboots. after reboot i unlock, it freezes and reboots again :( so imma try install the programs manually :( hope it works. but i really like ur rom :)

      I have to give this sad news that this problem is because of ur rom. because if i do this with litening, everything works and no crashes.

      9.3 worked decently well, had some android.process.acore freezes and such. so until there is a new version, i will stay with litening, but i will be back! :D

        I have the same problem (full wipe). It freezes sometimes, especially by working with g+. So i hope, it will be fixed soon.

        By the way, it freezes only during the working with the gplus app and during the synchronizing of gplus data. Other stuff works very well!!!

      Check if “keystr” file exist on /efs/imei folder.
      This file should contain one word “ON”.

      You have to clear Gmail app data, v9.3 and v9.4 uses a different version of Gmail app.

    I’m thinking of something that let’s you upload it once to one of my servers and then automatically creating a few mirrors and a torrent…

    Also this makes it easier for people to help since they can just leave the torrent seeding when they’re done!

        If I know your base URL then I can add you as a webseed which will allow torrent users to also benefit from your mirror!

    Still the problem about “asec” going to external_sd (example trying to install Minecraft from market i got an error). I’m trying to mod the vold.fstab (after comparing with a Ginger Rom) in /system/etc by adding “asec = enable” => /sdcard and “asec = disable = false” => /sdcard/external_sd.
    Seems to work :-)

    Is ther any workarroud for the APP to SD problem?
    Just remember: unmount than mount, just makes possible to install the app, the app doens’t go to the sdcard….

      One other thing: The Galery3D is still nedded for seting up lockscreen backgound, isn’t now this problem fixed with stable release leek…
