Instructions:

  1. Backup backup backup
  2. Install it from recovery
  3. Reboot the device

    “I downloaded the deodexd version and I am trying to install add-on zip file. the recovery mode (unlike your previous ROMS) does not have the option for adding zip file. How do i go about doing this. If i want to go back to the previous version, how do i install the zip file when i don’t have that option in the recovery mode. I tried copying the file to the ext card but i got error msg of installation aborted. what should i do”

    Copied Speedmod k30 into Rom zip before flashing and works like a charm… :-)
    Since added lidroid 15 Status bar toggles and am very happy! ;-)
    Now looking to replace the ‘slide to unlock’ lockscreen…

    Thanks a lot wanam – looking forward to wanamlite 12.3…!

      I think it’s not as easy as on 4.0.3, seems like Sammy removed the aosp lock-screen on 4.0.4 .

        Yep, have gone back to Widgetlocker for now, seems to be less laggy than I remember so it’s not a big problem! ;-)

    I am on the 4.0.4 and wanted to switch ROM back to 4.0.3 as found that better for my phone. I downloaded the ROM onto the SD card but no matter what version of your ROM i try, i keep getting unable to verify signature and it fails. SO WHAT DO I DO NOW ??

    I would really like to thank you for uploading such a great ROM.
    I’m running your 12.2 version ROM, and no problems at all.
    I have one question though,
    In previous release, there was CWM touch recovery in your ROM s with additional options of kernels.
    In this release (v. 12.2), there is no touch recovery in it.
    Can you please tell me how to install the same and with all the extra options of kernels.

      Dude chainfire is on vacation so no cf root available
      For LPO Wait till 15th aug u will get cf root for LPO TOO.

    I have some question plz guide me
    1. Can i flash 2.3.6 frOM odin and then cwm with odin.
    2. Can i flash cwm for LPO WITH ODIN.
    3. Can i flash miui on ur deodexed LPO.

      OR :Worked for me like a charm….
      Here’s a little guide to do it
      First you need root
      Install from playstore Es file explorer and enable the root browsing (you need to mount your system as read/write as well
      Go in your system/app folder and search and delete “googlequicksearchbox.apk”
      Grab the one from HERE (its from a XWLPG 4.0.3) and copy paste to your system/app
      Set the permission (always using es file explorer) as RW-R-R
      done

    im unable to conduct a local search for my apps, and i cant reboot into CW recovery mode….can these issues be fixed????? plz reply ASAP

    Is the deodexed version rooted? can i wipe & install future roms via cwm? I tried xxlq5 & xwlpm stock roms, perfect & stable ics roms ever tried; uninstalled hearing brick problems.

    rebooted to recovery, full wipe, install from internal SD, select the zip file, and I get

    E:can’t open /emmc/GT-I3100_WanamLite.Deodexed.XWLPO.NO-WIPE.zip
    (bad)
    Installation aborted

    what Am I doing wrong?

      nevermind, I guess it was a corrupted file or something, I copied it to my external SD card and it’s alive it’s aliveeee

    Does this mean that it is not safe to use a kernel like Siyah?

      Siyah is based on 4.0.3 sources, this is 4.0.4 Rom based, there is no need to try it if you will use and older (and maybe incompatible) kernel.

    !!هل اركب هذا الروم مباشره فوق الروم الي على الجهاز

    ام ارجع لروم رسمي ايسكريم ثم اركب هذا الروم 4.4

    I am currently on WanamLite 12.2 and it is very stable and nice. I want to try this 4.0.4 ROM.
    If I want to get back to Wanamlite 12.2 from this ROM later, is there a safe way without brick issue?
    Will I need to flash some other kernel and then Wanamlite 12.2 or use ODIN instead of CWM?

      Backup before flashing this one (your data my not work if decide to go back to 4.0.3).
      If you wan to go back, flash Cf-root LPG trough odin -> wipe your data -> flash your Rom.
