  • jb

modem failed to flash, you sure the file is right?

  • F a b i o

I flashed this ROM through TWRP 2.7.0.1.. Everything seems to work perfectly and smoothly, except Wi-Fi: it works but everytime I reboot it doesn’t reconnect to known networks automatically, I have to connect manually :(

  • Boris

Same for me. Phone signal is lost when screen is turned off. I used TWRP recovery and followed all the steps. Would be nice with a solution, so that the phone can be used…

    • Alfredo Meneses

You need update the modem file.

      • Boris

Thanx for the reply. Where do i find an updated modem file and how do i install/flash it?

        • Alfredo Meneses

Sorry for my delay in answering your question. What variant of S4 have? You could solve your problem?

          • Boris

I found an solution. I installed wanamlite-xxufnc5-v2-6-android-kitkat. A New bootloader and modem file is included in the package to optionally flash. Thanks for your reply. Can modem files be found somewhere to download? Thanks also to Wanam and other participants in the new release.

          • Alfredo Meneses

You used Odin for install the new bootloader and modem?

          • Boris

Yes I used Odin. I think wanam stated that Odin 3.04 shall be used.

          • Alfredo Meneses

Ok, your version of modem is the most recent?

  • Abraham

How update to 2.5? I have wanamlite 2.4. Is it necessary install again from zero?

    • Abraham

I dont want to lost my data and information!

    • Feisar

      Read the installation steps.

  • Jan

Absolutely no Problems !!! German Carrier.

But one thing does not work in Xposed. Use Signs in Keyboard doesn’t work….

    Anyone got a solution?

    • Jan

No one? Wanam? Some one who cares about the user?

      • Jan

Anotherone who don’t like Germans ;-)

  • ron vaknim

There is no phone signal… may you forgot someting in that rom, i tink that the efs wasnt backuped, but in older versions it was backuped, please repair that ASAP

    • http://wanamlite.com/ Mohamed Karami (Wanam)

Ron, these is nothing to fix, and you didn’t loose your efs (just relflash a stock Rom), i’m pretty sure you didn’t read nor follow the instructions, the only way to loose the signal is to use an other recovery other than the recommended one “TWRP”.

  • Derek Elphick

No phone signal….you would think that this is an important aspect as it’s a mobile phone and hence it’s primary purpose is to make phone calls. Not good.

    • Boris

Derek, did you find a solution for your problems with the phone signal?

      • http://wanamlite.com/ Mohamed Karami (Wanam)

You must use TWRP recovery, otherwise you will keep reporting the same signal issue.

      • Derek Elphick

Yep, used twrp and had to force the install of a different modem. Then everything worked fine. I find KitKat a little laggy though. Anyone else have this issue?

  • Sergey Bolbat

Thank you for your work but what about I9500? Adam Kernel for it? Or there is no kernel source for it?

    • http://wanamlite.com/ Mohamed Karami (Wanam)

Sorry I don’t own the device, I can’t keep supporting it.

      • Sergey Bolbat

That is very ruefully. I’ve been using your i9500 ROM for over a year alredy. I’m very sad.

      • Sergey Bolbat

After your message I’ve began to look for a similar TW-based ROM and tried a couple of them. Huh… to say the truth I even would love to donate your works with I9500 because all of them are unstable and not comfortable as yours. :( Your ROM is my best experience with Samsung smartphones. It is very very bad that you don’t own this device anymore. I can remember how I laughed at I9505 owners when you commented new I9500 ROM saying that you will not support I9505. Now I’m on their place. :(
